It’s finally summer, and spring was INSANE. I’m back in the Midwest after a NYC – London – Lisbon – London – Berlin – NYC – LA bonanza, and while it was bonkers and totally amazing in so many ways, I also realized I’ve been burning the candle at both ends and need to take a bit of time to regroup. Summertime seems like a good time to scale back, even just a little bit, and find some perspective.
What is the goal of Young Space? Why does it exist? How can it be meaningful? Perhaps it will change shape a little bit. Maybe it will turn into something else altogether. But some time is necessary to figure that out. So it’s gotta be a summer in which I can recharge and revisit some personal creative pursuits that I’ve put on the back burner for too long.
I’ll still post plenty of artwork on Insta, and I’m super stoked about the online exhibition coming up soon! But the submission form on the website is going to go into hibernation for a few weeks, I’m pausing Patreon (patrons won’t be billed next month), and I’m gonna figure out what the heck comes next! It’s all part of the process, and I infinitely appreciate all your support, as ever!
