17 from 2017. If 2016 was the year I realized Young Space might have some potential, 2017 was a year of renewed determination, growth, and learning. It was a year that encompassed a TON of collaboration, experimentation, and conversations that will continue into 2018 and beyond. Some really exhilarating trips to the UK, Spain, Canada, and around the U.S. included several exhibitions both locally and further afield, which brought artists who I admire together in ways that are feeding into future projects. The Young Space Instagram pretty much just blew up this year. And on the website, I’ve featured work by — and interviews with — nearly 200 artists!! THAT IS INSANE! So much amazing art, and ideas from so many creative minds.

Looking back, I’ve compiled a list of 17 favorite posts that really remind me why Young Space is such a pleasure to work on. By no means an exhaustive list (could this be harder to narrow down?), I like to think of this as a smattering of highlights — of which there are many! And I’m looking forward to continuously keeping up with all of the Young Space featured artists as their work progresses.

THANK YOU for making 2017 the most exciting year yet, and I look forward to even awesomer awesomeness in 2018!
