Can you tell me a little bit about you?
I am from Slovakia, but a one year ago I finished at the Academy of Arts and Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM) and now I still live and work in Prague (Czech Republic). For my Bachelors, the first degree, I studied in Slovakia in the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrici, and the Masters degree I finished in Prague in the Studio of Intermediate Confrontation of Jiří David. I work only in painting medium.
When did you first discover art, or realize you wanted to make it yourself?
When I started to study in high school in the department of architecture, I only enjoyed the technical drawing. So then I changed the school and I was finally directed.
What ideas are you exploring in your practice?
Landscape – environment – internet – humanity – world around us – change
Before I interested in the pure landscape, exploring the relationship of man in the country and finding a compromise between man and country. I try to find out how much we are bound by the romantic fantasy of nature while trying to think about the global problems. Now I looking for a harder way without figural elements, and I’m trying to show pure emotion and memory associated with a difficult climatic time.
