Salong Flyttkartong took the shape of an amateur mobile tattoo studio in Sweden that combined the permanence of tattoos with the spontaneity and fleeting quality inherent to performance. It was a series of participatory events during which an aesthetic particular to the studio developed. Documentation of the project has been published in book form, which can be found here. The artist, Linnéa Sjöberg, earned an MFA from the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, in 2012. More information on Salong Flyttkartong and other work by Sjöberg can be found at linneasjoberg.com.
