SATURATE is a group exhibition curated by artists Shannon Taylor-Jones and Frances Sousa featuring twelve emerging artists working in abstraction.
Through abstraction, these emerging artists work with process and repetition to create vibrant bodies of work that express individual visual languages, with final works created as markers of moments. This diverse selection of works alludes to the similarities and differences present within contemporary abstraction. Collectively, these works exist both to assert their own voices and to allow dialogue with one another.
Contemporary abstraction allows for a multitude of voices to be expressed. In SATURATE, they simultaneously exist both independently and cooperatively to create new intersections in abstraction.
Participating artists include Alyssa Pisciotto, Emilie Michel, Frances Sousa, Janine Wheeler, Jelena Rivera, Jordan Clayton, Lindsay Ferris, Maya Skarzenski, Shannon Taylor-Jones, Tamar Bresge, Tyler Matheson, and Yara El Safi.
